Registration for summer 2025 will CLOSE on March 21, 2025.
We are pleased to announce our intention to run an in-person camping program for the summer of 2025! We are looking forward to an incredible summer as we prepare for the delivery of a memorable camp experience.
We have compiled the following information to help guide your registration process and answer some of your most pressing questions. Please stay tuned for further information, which we will release over the coming months.

Camp Merrywood and Camp Woodeden Open House Registration (Coming Soon!)
Camp Capacity & Session Dates
- We will be running 7-night, 8-day individual sessions to provide as many campers as possible with the opportunity to attend camp.
- Family Camp at both Merrywood and Woodeden will be 3-night, 4-day sessions.
- Excursions offsite for any reason other than emergency situations weaken our ability to maintain health and safety standards. Campers, staff, volunteers, and personal care attendants are asked to remain onsite for the duration of the camp session.
Registration Process
Registration for summer camping sessions will open on January 13, 2025 at 12 p.m. and take place on the CampBrain registration portal.
- The CampBrain registration portal is best accessed on a laptop or desktop. It is still possible to access the portal and complete registration on a mobile phone or tablet, but ease of use may be impacted.
- Upon registration, your application will be held for review and approval. The green REGISTERED button that appears after the application is submitted does not confirm that your camper has been approved. We understand this may cause confusion, but unfortunately, this is an unchangeable feature of the CampBrain platform. Once approved, your CampBrain profile will change from “Applicant” to “Registration Approved.”
- If you have applied for more than one session, please be sure to indicate your order of preference.
- We will approve all campers on a first-come-first-served basis for one session before approving attendance in subsequent sessions. This means that you may be approved for one session but remain on hold for additional sessions. We do this to ensure that as many campers as possible get to come to camp!
- When all sessions are full, applications waiting for approval will be waitlisted and may be approved for additional sessions as spots become available.
Rates and Fees
Total individual camper fees are $2,500 per session, which includes a $200.00 application fee. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors, it is possible for Easter Seals Ontario to subsidize the cost of camp for campers aged 6-18 years old for one session per summer. This subsidized rate for 2025 is $425. Families who are financially able to contribute more to their camper fees are kindly asked to do so. This allows Easter Seals Ontario to send as many campers with physical disabilities to camp as possible.
In order to complete an application for any session, a $200 application fee will apply (per session). This amount goes towards the balance of any approved sessions. Once you have completed an application it will be reviewed by our team to be sure that the camper is a good fit for our program, this may take 6-8 weeks. Upon approval of an application, you will receive an approval package including an invoice for total fees. Fees are due in full May 1, 2025, or within 15 days of receiving an approval and invoice. If full fees are not paid by the deadline, we cannot guarantee that your spot will be held.
Family Camp approvals will be sent out by the end of March.
Campers intending to apply for Passport or other third-party funding can request a full invoice to support their funding application.
Children and youth who are 18 years of age or younger as of July 1, 2025
…are eligible for subsidy from Easter Seals Ontario to cover a portion of camper fees for one session per summer. A subsidized session in 2025 will cost families $425. For each subsequent session, the full camper fees apply.
Youth who are 19 years of age or older as of July 1, 2025
…are not eligible for subsidy and the camper fees of $2,500 apply to each session attended.
Family Camp Rate
The rate for Family Camp is a minimum of $200 per person for the session.

COVID-19 Policies
Easter Seals Ontario prioritizes the health and safety of campers, staff, and volunteers above all else. We recognize that many families are feeling unsure about the safety of group settings and shared activity spaces. Easter Seals Ontario has, and continues to, consult with professionals about best practices for summer camp safety as it relates to COVID-19 and all communicable diseases. We will do everything in our power to ensure a safe, healthy, and fun summer for all.
Easter Seals Ontario follows the guidance of Public Health Ontario in implementing best practices and effective protocols for preventing the spread of illness. We will implement any and all COVID-19 protocols required by Public Health at the time of our sessions. We are unable to predict exactly what will be implemented at the time of your session, as public guidance is subject to change without notice. Please be aware that some or all of the following may be in place during camp:
- Masking
- Testing
- Cohorting
- Physical distancing
- Hand hygiene
- Daily temperature checks
- Contact tracing
Arrival/departure processes may look different for Summer 2025. We will have more details closer to the start of camp regarding arrival/departure and day-to-day camp protocols. Please check the website as camp draws nearer for the most up-to-date information.
If a camper with an approved application has a medical emergency or symptoms of COVID-19 within 7 days of the start of their session:
- Fees will be held, and the camper will be re-booked into a subsequent session
- If no re-booking options are available, fees will be refunded
Easter Seals Ontario reserves the right to require all individuals accessing camp property (campers, guardians, PCAs, staff, volunteers, etc.) to be vaccinated prior to attending camp based on the guidelines stipulated by the Public Health authorities. If this policy is put in place, you will be notified as soon as possible.

- In the event of a cancellation of a camp session by Easter Seals related to COVID-19, a full refund will be issued using the original payment method.
- In the event of a cancellation or withdrawal of an application by the registrant after April 1, 2025, the $200 application fee will be forfeited.
